S7.7 The assessment of the applicable percentage should be reviewed annually or earlier on the basis of an appropriate request for review. The review process shall be conducted in accordance with the capacity assessment procedures under the supported remuneration system. S7.5 In order to determine the percentage of salary to be paid to a staff member, the performance of the staff member shall be assessed in accordance with the sustained remuneration system and documented in an assessment tool: S7.10.3 The amount to be paid to the staff member during the probationary period shall be at least 10 per cent of the prescribed rate of pay. § 7.8 If an assessment has been made, the percentage to be applied applies only to the rate of pay. Officials covered by this clause shall be entitled, on a pro rata basis, to the same conditions of employment as all other servants covered by this Agreement. S7.6 The assessment tool, including the percentage of the rate of pay to be paid to the employee, is submitted by the University in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. S7.10.2 During this trial period, the capacity assessment is carried out and the proposed rate of pay for a standard employment relationship is determined. S7.4 An employee to whom this clause applies shall be remunerated in accordance with Schedules 1 to 3. S7.10.1 In order to be able to make an appropriate assessment of the employee`s performance, the University may employ a person for a probationary period of not more than 12 weeks in accordance with the provisions of this clause, with the exception that, in certain cases, an additional work adjustment period (no more than 4 weeks) may be required. S7.9 The University, if it wishes to employ a person in accordance with the provisions of this clause, will take reasonable steps to make changes to the workplace to improve the employee`s ability to perform the work.
